There's more to the LFC than meets the eye! While we pride ourselves in our one-on-one tutoring, we also hold fundraisers to contribute to the CHEO foundation.

​MeET AND greet with professors:

October 15th, 2020

With online courses, connecting with professors can seem daunting, but through LFC's online meet and greet with profs, we sought to demystify seeking support and interacting with professors! LFC's meet-and-greet was a huge success thanks to the wonderful professors Dr. Rashmi Venkateswaran, Dr. Alain St-Amant, and Dr. Kathy Fox! 

September raffle:

September 11th, 2020

LFC hosted a Raffle in September in order to increase our outreach within the uOttawa community and to connect with prospective tutors, tutees, and mentees. This event was a huge success, with approximately a hundred students participating! Through the generosity of local businesses, over $250 of prizes were allocated to five winners, in the form of escape room passes, gift cards, beavertails, free meals, and tutoring sessions. We can’t wait to do this event again!
